Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services The US Department of Health Services offers the latest HIPAA news, with related internal and external links. CMS is the federal agency responsible for administering Centers for Medical & Medicaid Services.

American Health Information Management Association The AHIMA is a self-sustaining entity with search engine compiling articles, journals, briefings, and related HIPAA list briefings. As well, AMIMA provides resourceful guides to recognize continuous innovation and advances in health information management.

The Workgroup for Electronic Data Interface (WEDI) and the Strategic National Implementation Process (SNIP)
These cross-over sites provide useful HIPAA information. The Resource section informs and educates WEDI healthcare members at strategies to improving information exchange, and the need for secure working enviorments.
